Welcome to The [Inclusion] Conversation Podcast!
We are thrilled to continue to observe Women’s History Month and have our guest featured today, Le Anne Harper, Co-Founder of Unlock, in conversation with our host, Grace Yung Foster.
This podcast dives into the world of work, careers, and life for Adoptees, Foster Care Alumni, our allies, parents, child welfare professionals, policy experts, and all within the Adoptee and Foster's orbit.
Le Anne Harper is a Co-Founder of Unlock, a future of work personal CRM designed to put control and opportunities back in the hands of leaders, resulting in genuine connections, better decisions, and a greater sense of agency.
Prior to Unlock, she spent 20 years as a talent and operations executive, working in-house and consulting to companies like Sony Pictures, AECOM, DreamWorks, and Crooked, as well as the executives and Founders fueling them.
Personally, she is a NJ transplant in search of great pizza in SoCal, lifelong learner, adoptee immigrant, and concert junkie ever since seeing Prince at Madison Square Garden. She loves to build courage by facing her fears including a solo South Africa safari, skydiving from 14,000 feet, singing in front of 10k people, and swimming with sharks.
We dive into her adoption experience, her journey navigating young adulthood, early career, her corporate career, and her hard journey with her adoptive family. We dive into conditional love, its impact, and how we can reparent ourselves towards healing.
We end the show with “Rapid Fire” questions which brings levity and also some fun facts about our guest. This is an incredible episode and we hope you enjoy learning about our guest.
